About The CommCARE Independent Practice Association services
The CommCARE IPA contracts with 27 Behavioral Health and Substance Use organizations across the state of Missouri in an effort to build a strong network of over 9000 independent practices who specialize in the areas of behavioral healthcare and substance use.
The purpose of the IPA is to invent and implement effective healthcare solutions, form collaborative efforts between programs and insurers, prepare for payment reform, and assert a collective influence to impact positive change that improves client experiences and client outcomes to over 200,000 clients across Missouri.
Joining the CommCARE IPA allows practices to focus on providing care to more clients while the IPA builds a strong market presence in a rapidly consolidating industry. The CommCARE IPA works to improve collective results in care management, supervision of client care, and the cost of care.
The CommCARE IPA specializes in a delivery of care to clients that improves provider responsibility and accountability, simplifies access to healthcare for insurers and clients, and works to keep clients in the least restrictive community setting with positive outcomes.
